Huda is a committed and dedicated teacher with 15 years of experience across secondary and primary schools in Singapore. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Education) (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and is very passionate about the teaching of Science. Huda firmly believes in developing self-directed learners with critical thinking skills in her quest to nurture future-ready students. For her creativity and innovativeness in her pedagogical approaches to make “Science come alive”, she was awarded the Innovative Teacher Award in 2014, 2018 and 2023. Huda was also recognised by the Singapore Science Centre for her active contributions for Science Communication when she received Diamond Ribbon Award (2021). She is also a keen advocate for outdoor education and environmental awareness. In her free time, she volunteers with Ground-Up Innovation Labs for Development (GUILD) and is a coach with Forest School (Singapore). Huda’s creativity and passion for teaching, together with a big heart for the students, will make her an invaluable asset to the Invictus community.
