Invictus School Hong Kong is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Safeguarding is at the core of everything we do at Invictus and is everyone’s responsibility.

• Designated Safeguarding Leaders: The school has identified Julia Woo as the Designated Safeguarding Leader. Julia has undergone specific training to handle safeguarding concerns.
• Training and Updates: Staff members receive regular training, updates, and information on safeguarding procedures. This ensures that they are well-informed about the latest practices and guidelines to ensure student safety.
• Reporting Concerns: All staff members are required to share any concerns they might have about a child's safety or well-being with the Designated Safeguarding Leaders. This ensures that potential issues are identified and addressed promptly.
• Safeguarding Policy: Staff members are aware of the school's Safeguarding policy, which outlines the expectations for working with children and families. This policy likely covers a range of topics related to child protection and safety.
• Staff Code of Conduct: There is a Staff Code of Conduct in place that sets clear expectations for the behaviour and actions of all adults at the school. This likely includes guidelines on appropriate interactions with students and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Collaboration with Outside Agencies: The school collaborates with external agencies, such as social care, health, and the police, when necessary to support children and families. This indicates a proactive approach to addressing any concerns that go beyond the school's scope.
• Safety Education: Safety education is integrated into the curriculum through Personal, Social, and Health Education (PSHE) classes. This helps students develop the knowledge and skills to keep themselves safe in various situations.
• Educational Visits and Trips: Students are well-prepared for off-site activities through discussions about potential risks and strategies for overcoming them. This proactive approach ensures that students are equipped to handle situations that may arise during these activities.

For the safety and security of our kindergarten students, the school also requires all kindergarten guardians to do the Guardian Pick-Up Pass during school dismissals.
